Even a well-planned drainage system laid in order can be a twisting labyrinth of coiled pipes. Every segment is susceptible to clogging, cracking, leaking and bursting. And while there are ways to test each division of your drain system one by one, they’re neither quick, easy, nor cost-effective. But we have a better solution.
We conduct CCTV drain camera inspections using a waterproof mini-camera attached to a rip-resistant chord. We feed the camera through your drain system to locate damaged or blocked drain pipes.
CCTV (closed-circuit television) cameras are the best way to diagnose plumbing problems. We don’t have to go through the hassle of hypothesising, testing and retesting your pipes, and you don’t have to go through the hassle of paying for it.
It isn’t just the bouquet of scents that make sewage pipes such a hazardous place. Filled with sharp foreign objects and strange debris, your pipes are a challenging environment, even for a camera probe.
We use industry-leading drain cameras that can survive in the toughest conditions while delivering crystal-clear visuals. With chords of various lengths, we can conduct CCTV inspections deep into the wastewater systems of your building.
We’re a family-owned business, and our parents always taught us it was rude to point out a problem without offering a solution. While CCTV camera inspections are purely diagnostic, we are a full-service plumbing company and can efficiently — and cost-effectively — solve your plumbing issues.
We’re going to assume that, sensible as you are, you don’t want to gaze into the abyss of human waste that drains tend to be filled with. However, we do have a few tasteful images to share of our specialists at work.
We use state of the art equipment to look deep inside your plumbing pipes to pinpoint the blockage, ensuring you have peace of mind blockages are cleared quickly and cost effectively
Calling a plumber should be as easy as, well, picking up the phone. That’s how every plumber does it, but what sets us apart is how fast we get on the job.
Despite the name, we aren’t exclusively inner-city plumbers. Though our offices are still in Abbotsford, our teams patrol the entire Melbourne metropolitan area. Whatever suburb you’re in, you can expect us to reach your site within an hour.
We provide CCTV camera inspections and plumbing services for all sites, including homes, businesses and publicly-owned areas like parks and playgrounds.
We like to think the defining quality of our business is versatility. We’ve spent a great deal of our decades-long career attending to the same types of tasks: appliance installation, tapware and filter replacements, toilet blockages and such. Similar though they are, every job has its nuances. But now and then, something truly extraordinary will come along — like a wedding ring trapped under forty years of human waste. That one’s true.
No matter what this job throws at us, we’re always ready for it.
CCTV drain cameras can detect all types of damage within your plumbing system. We can offer you a clear visual of:
We would appreciate any information you have about the nature of the blockage, signs of damage you’ve noticed and details about your plumbing system.
If you can only speak in general terms or don’t have any specific details to offer, that’s perfectly fine — we’ll see everything for ourselves when we get there.
After our CCTV inspection, we can offer you a detailed written report of our findings with a video recording of our inspection. These are useful when dealing with your insurance provider or local council.
Without a CCTV camera that we can feed into your pipes, we can only assess blockages and damage by looking at the pipes directly. If those pipes are behind walls or buried under earth, we may have to excavate some portion of the site. Excavations are highly time-intensive, laborious and costly solutions. On the other hand, a CCTV inspection is relatively quick, easy and cheap.
In order to get the best and clearest possible footage, your drains must be thoroughly cleaned before the inspection. Not to worry — we’ll take care of that for you.
Before we send the camera down, we’ll clear your drains using a sewer cable machine. However, we will ask you to do your best to avoid using any sinks, showers, toilets and drains connected to the pipes you think may be blocked or leaking. Of course, we understand that’s not always possible, but the sooner you call us, the sooner we can get your home or business running properly again.
Identifying the problem is only the first step of the process. If you believe you have a leak or blockage in your plumbing, call us, and we’ll figure out the best solution.
